1. Introduction

Welcome to Looma. We exist to put you back in control of your insurance data. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how you can use Looma’s website, app, and services (the “Services”). These Terms should be read alongside our Regulatory Disclaimer (available here) too.

By creating an account or using Looma, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our Services.

2. Who Can Use Looma

You must be 16 years or older to use Looma. That’s because it’s the youngest age you can hold a driving licence (moped, tractor, or provisional).
You must use Looma only for your own personal use, not on behalf of someone else unless you are legally entitled to do so.

3. What Looma Does (and Doesn’t)

Looma helps you:

Access your driving, insurance, and related data (with your permission).
Understand your profile through the Looma Score and insights.
Track quote behaviour over time and, where enabled, retrieve insurance quotes using Looma Agent.
Compare and make sense of insurance options.

Important: Looma provides information and insights only. We are not an insurance company and we do not give you financial or insurance advice. Any decisions you make about insurance are yours. For more information on this, see our Regulatory Disclaimer.

3.1 Looma Agent (Quote Retrieval & Automation)

Looma Agent is an optional tool that allows users to retrieve insurance quotes or related information. Where you choose to use Looma Agent:

● You explicitly authorise Looma Agent to use the information you’ve provided to interact with third-party services (see 12. Third Party Services below) to obtain quotes or related data.

● Looma Agent operates based on the data available to it and the parameters you provide. It may not access all available providers, products, or options in the market.

● Looma Agent does not guarantee that the quotes retrieved represent the best, cheapest, or most suitable options available. See our Regulatory Disclaimer for more information.

● Looma Agent may rely on pre-filled or inferred data. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy and completeness of any information before acting on it.

● Looma Agent does not provide advice or recommendations when presenting quotes or results. Any outputs are provided for information only.

● Looma Agent may fail to retrieve quotes, retrieve incomplete results, or experience delays or errors.

● Looma is not responsible for any financial loss, missed opportunities, or outcomes arising from the use of Looma Agent.

● Use of Looma Agent is entirely optional, and you remain solely responsible for any decisions made based on its outputs.

4. Your Account

Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for any activity on your account.
You must not share your account or use Looma in a misleading or fraudulent way.
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at dpo@go-looma.com.

5. Our Rights

We may:

Update, improve, or change Looma’s Services from time to time.
Suspend or close accounts if users break these Terms, misuse the service, or put others at risk.
Withdraw or change features without prior notice.

As Looma is a relatively new service; as we grow, develop and learn from user feedback, some features may change, be removed, or be unavailable from time to time.

6. Costs and Payments

Looma is currently free to use.
In the future, we may offer optional paid features (for example, a Plus subscription). We’ll always be clear about costs before you sign up.

7. Using Your Data with Your Consent

Your data belongs to you. We handle it in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains:

Looma can only access your insurance, driving, or credit data if you explicitly authorise us.
By using Looma, you agree that we may, with your explicit consent, act on your behalf to request data from relevant third parties (for example, through Data Subject Access Requests, or “DSARs”).
You remain the owner of your data. We simply help you retrieve, view, and use it in Looma.
We will never access your data without your consent.

By using Looma, your data may be processed to provide insights, improve the service, and support aggregated, anonymised, or pseudonymised analysis.

Where permitted by applicable law, such data may be used for benchmarking, analytics, and commercial purposes in a privacy-preserving manner as laid out in our Privacy Policy and in accordance with the rest of these Terms.

8. Fair Use

We built Looma to help people, not to be misused. You agree not to:

Create fake accounts or use Looma with someone else’s identity.
Try to copy, scrape, or hack Looma.
Use Looma in any way that could damage the service or affect other users.

If this happens, we may suspend or close your account.

9. No Guaranteed Outcomes

Looma helps you see your data, understand it, and use it. But we can’t guarantee that using Looma will lead to cheaper insurance, a specific offer, or any particular outcome. The final decisions always sit with you, insurers, and other third parties.

9.1 Scores and Insights

Any scores, ratings, or insights provided by Looma (including any Looma Score) are indicative only.
They’re based on available data and modelling assumptions and may not reflect the criteria or decisions of insurers.
Looma does not guarantee that any score or insight will result in a particular price, outcome, eligibility, or insurance offer.

10. Liability

We build Looma to be useful, transparent, and safe. But:

We cannot promise Looma will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
We do not guarantee that insights (like the Looma Score) are free from errors or that they will directly affect your insurance offers.
To the extent allowed by law, One Looma Ltd is not responsible for any losses you may suffer from using Looma.
You remain solely responsible for all decisions relating to your insurance, including selecting, purchasing, maintaining, or cancelling any policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you meet all deadlines, obligations, and requirements under your insurance arrangements.
You agree not to rely solely on Looma when making insurance or financial decisions.

Nothing in these Terms limits our responsibility for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else we can’t exclude under the law.

11. Nature of Service

Looma provides data processing, analysis, and insight tools designed to help users understand and manage aspects of their insurance.

Looma does not provide financial advice, insurance advice, or recommendations, and does not act as an insurer, broker, or intermediary unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Any information, insights, scores, or outputs provided by Looma are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional or regulated advice. For more information on this, see our Regulatory Disclaimer.

12. Third-Party Services

Looma sometimes links you to other services, such as insurers, comparison websites, or government bodies. Looma also utilises data obtained from third-party sources, including insurers, brokers, and other service providers.

Looma does not independently verify all third-party data and is not responsible for errors or omissions originating from such sources. We don’t control these third-party services and we’re not responsible for what they do. If you use them, you should check their own terms and policies.

13. Ending the Relationship

You can stop using Looma at any time.
We may suspend or end your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.
We may also discontinue the Services, but we’ll do our best to let you know in advance.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are significant, we’ll notify you directly. Otherwise, the latest version will always be available on our website.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
